Modern bluntness

I don't pretend total innocence but I really try not to be rude as in

• checking mails while talking to someone, 
• texting while attending a lecture, 
• spending quality time with friends but taking every single excuse in the conversation to look up a name, a word or some trivial piece of information on the net. 

It's sick! Maybe we should learn from critically looking at our own behaviour and that of our peers.
